Atalanta Pede Kalahkan Inter

liga. Inter sudah mendapatkan momentumnya ketika mereka mengalahkan
Chievo 1-0 akhir pekan lalu. Tinggal bagaimana mereka
melanjutkannya.

tukasnya.

Catatan kedua tim dalam dua musim terakhir pun
relatif berimbang, meski Inter unggul dalam jumlah kemenangan. Dalam
empat laga, Inter sukses menang dua kali, sementara dua laga lainnya
Atalanta.

Cale Hulse for the Win on CBC's 'Battle of the Blades'

CBC's Battle of the Blades teams former NHL players with professional skaters. Cale Hulse played for the NHL for 12 years, from Calgary Flames (his hometown), to New Jersey Devils, Nashvilel Predators, Phoenix Coyotes to name a few. Now, he can be seen weekly, with partner Violetta Afanasieva, compete each week for judges and fan votes.  We caught up with him during practice to talk about family, competition and the need for more fan votes.

"I wanted to do the show because I thought it was a great opportunity to raise money for a charity that is near and dear to me which is the Canadian Cancer Society because of my father's battle with cancer for the last 15 years," he says.

Hulse is married to actress Gena Lee Nolin and have four daughters together. "The hardest part, unfortunately, is I am away from the kids. They came out for the first performance, but they have since gone back home and they have to be in their routine with school. Gena came up last weekend so we had our time which was great."

Although receiving top scores from the judges on a weekly basis, he needs the fan votes to stay on. "We set the bar high but I think we are living up to it. What's nice is the judges feel the same. Last week, we were on top of the leaderboard, unfortunately, we still had to skate off, which was our second skate off, but which we won by a unanimous decision, so the judges are liking what we are doing. We just need the fans to please please please vote for us, that would be great."

Watch the interview below for a sneak peek into their rehearsal and more from Cale Hulse.

You can catch Battle of the Bands every Sunday and Monday nights on CBC.

Kolo Toure Tertarik Gabung PSG

Beritabola.com Manchester -
Jarang mendapatkan kesempatan bermain, Kolo Toure mulai berpikir untuk
meninggalkan Manchester City. Dia pun tak menutup kemungkinan dirinya
akan hengkang ke Paris Saint-Germain.

Toure kehilangan tempat
di tim inti The Citizens sejak diskors selama enam bulan akibat kasus
doping.

baru dimainkan sebanyak tiga kali. Dia bermain penuh kala City
menghadapi Birmingham City di Piala Liga Inggris dan Bayern Munich di
Liga Champions.

tandasnya.

Viruses harnessed as molecular building materials

Researchers at the University of California at Berkeley have developed a technique to coax benign viruses called M13 phages to serve as structural building blocks for complex biological materials.

We need a third horse in the mobile race

The mobile race shows no signs of slowing from the breakneck speed it’s been run for several years. Smartphones are being adopted en masse, and tablets are stepping in to fill the void between the phone and the PC. The two big horses in this race, Google Android and Apple iOS, are mopping the field with all other contenders. That needs to change to allow the hot segment to be truly competitive. We need at least another horse to get established in the mobile tech race.

The problem is we are fast running out of contenders with what it takes to move into that third spot in the gate. The management of Research in Motion (RIM) have all but officially taken the BlackBerry completely out of the race with continual missteps in the market. The recently announced BBX platform that will become the new BlackBerry OS has a lot of us scratching our heads over the viability of the effort.

HP was poised to leverage the webOS platform purchased with Palm, and had a decent shot at grabbing that third spot. What HP lacked was the desire to stick it out and give it a chance, and the platform has been all but officially orphaned in the space. The webOS platform may end up going to someone else, but will lose all momentum HP/Palm has built. It’s not likely that the platform will have enough to move into that third space.

Microsoft is looking pretty good for the position with the Mango-ified Windows Phone. The update is looking really solid, the real unknown is how the market will accept it. It will need to grab a lot of market share quickly to have a decent shot at joining the race, and there is not a lot of time. Microsoft is vulnerable should the tablet market keep growing, with the choice of making Windows its mobile OS of choice for that genre. It will have to get both of those platforms running well to really grab mobile market share.

There aren’t any other viable contenders for the mobile race, which is unusual for such a hot segment. It’s not for lack of potential sales, it’s more like there isn’t another company with all of the pieces in place to grab them.

It will continue to be Apple and Google slugging it out in the mobile platform war. Both companies are doing what they have been doing well, producing solid products and grabbing lots of customers. While the top spot could go either way in financial terms, there is a very real legal situation casting a pall on the race. Apple may intend to legally shove Android under the bus eventually, and this could be devastating to the mobile race.
